21 May Workshop: 22 ways to beat the Catch-22 and get rapidly a clinical research job
Clinical research workshop
22 ways to beat the famous Catch-22 trap and
get rapidly a job in the clinical research field
The Catch-22 is a paradoxical lose-lose situation in which one is trapped by the absurdity of inherently illogical and contradictory rules or conditions, which make a problem unavoidable (After Catch-22, a novel by Joseph Heller)
For people in career reorientation that translates into the Kafkaesque situation that in Canada without practical experience in the new domain one cannot get a job, but without a job in this area one cannot get practical experience, which creates a vicious circle without exit.
However, some solutions exist and our experience confirms their effectiveness. The workshop discusses these
22 approaches that allow bypassing the Catch-22 trap and getting quickly an access to a job in clinical research.
