3rd Clinical Research Career Day – meet 4 pharmaceutical companies / CRO from Montreal

Career change is an important step and needs to make a well informed decision. Finding a job in a new field, where nobody knows you and you know nobody, is also a big challenge.

The Clinical Research Career Days are monthly informal events organized by the Access Pharma Group where seasoned clinical research professionals from 4 different pharmaceutical companies and CROs come to speak about their jobs and career paths to people, interested to switch to clinical research, and to answer all their questions how to get into the field. It is a great learning and networking opportunity.

The 3rd Clinical research careers orientation and networking meeting is scheduled as follows:

Date: Thursday, March 26, from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Where: Hôtel Governeur, place Dupuis (metro Berri-UQAM), 1415 Rue St-Hubert, Montreal, QC, H2L 4M4

Marilyn Krelenbaum, VP, Women in Bio, VP Life Sciences at the British-QC Counsil

Francois Le Barbenchon, Director Of Clinical Operations,  JSS Medical Research

Mélanie Bossé, Coordonnatrice de Recherche Clinique, INNOVADERM Research

Assia Dombayan, Senior Data Coordinator, Charles River Laboratories

Georges Kiopelidis Jr,  Marketing Director, Newport Cosmetics, coach

The participants vary from MSc, PhD & Post-doc degree holders, or foreign life science professionals in career reorientation, or newcomers with GCP experience, to current students in our CRA/CRC training and job insertion program (or from similar university programs in UdM & McGill)

The event gives the participants an opportunity to learn about these well paid, but not very popular professions, ask freely all their questions and get unbiased & objective answers directly from the source. This allows the participants  to crosscheck and validate what they know from other sources, as well as to establish their first contacts in the regulatory affairs field.

We work to help you succeed in this new area and to provide all the necessary tools and affordable support to realize your dreams. Please forward this information to a friend who might be interested in these career opportunities.
